Entitled "UR, going to be ok" - collection one is themed around mental and emotional health.
Here at "UR," we care deeply about people, and because of that we wanted collection one to address a very important issue in our world today, mental and emotional health. According to NAMI (National Alliance of Mental Illness) “Mental health conditions are common among teens and young adults. Currently, 1 in 5 young adults live with a mental health condition.” For far too long our generation has lived in fear, crippled by anxiety, and has felt "alone"...it's time we unite, stand up & fight back!
We know that the 2 biggest questions people are asking on the subject of mental & emotional health are:
- I need/want help, but how do I find it?
- Who I can trust?
So, how will we help?
- We have designed 12 clothing items. Themed around 9 specific emotions. We will be releasing 1 item (emotion) every week for 9 weeks, starting January 16.
- We will provide helpful content for our customers. For each release we will have 3 unique types of engagement with our audience...
-Each package will have an "interactive card" that allows you to proccess that specific emotion in his/her own life.
-Via social media and our website we will provide credible and trustworthy content (books, youtube clips, podcasts, sermons, spotify playlists etc.) This content will be relatable to your season of life, language, and interest.
-Interviewing influencers (people you respect/listen to) about their journeys with mental & emotional health. We believe this will allow you to see/feel like you are not alone.
We are proud to be partnering with “SPTS” a non-profit with the goal to educate and equip students and their parents on best practices to prevent teen suicide. (you can read more about this on the "non-profit partner." tab)
We will have fun and release high quality products, but most importantly we want to help people! We believe through "going to be ok" you will find what you have been looking for.
Thank you for believing in us, and we are happy to have you as part of the "UR, family"
